Official ABS data shows Brisbane's median established-house transfer price rose from $547,000 in June Quarter 2020 to $1.150M in March Quarter 2026 — an increase of approximately 110.2%. Over the same period, Brisbane materially outpaced Sydney (+55.5%) and Melbourne (+18.1%) on this measure. In March Quarter 2026, Queensland's mean residential dwelling price reached $1.1237M — second nationally after New South Wales.

Brisbane's super-prestige market has expanded rapidly.
